Liz Lanier
Corie Bratter
Liz Lanier is an actor/writer/director with digital production and creative development experience who loves to facilitate collaborative storytelling. She is currently an Artistic Associate at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
Liz studied acting at the Stella Adler Studio in NYC and some of her favorite credits include: Hera (Lesser Gods Podcast, LA), Sophie (We Will Not Be Silent - The Fountain, LA), Angelee (Reanimate Me Jim Jones - EST/LA, LA), Alice (The Newlywed - Chromolume, LA), Ronnie (Bite Your Tongue - Theatre for a New City, NYC), Eve (Uffizi - Riant Theatre, NYC), Katie (Bachelorette - Pinch N' Ouch Theatre, ATL), Iris (Antony & Cleopatra - Georgia Shakespeare, ATL), Messua (Jungle Book: The Musical - Georgia Shakespeare, ATL), and Katherine (Love's Labour's Lost - Nashville Shakespeare).
She is so grateful to this wonderful cast, to Cheryl & Tyler for all of the hard work, love, and vision they continue to pour into the Village Barn Playhouse, to her amazing husband Tommy for all his dedication and support...and TO YOU! For coming to see our show!!!
Rishi Arya
Paul Bratter
Rishi Arya is a Canadian born actor/comedian. He studied acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. He’s toured the country doing stand-up & often performs in Los Angeles. He’s appeared to in Superstore, Jane The Virgin, Grey’s Anatomy, American Housewife, NCIS & many more television shows. He is currently a lead in the HBO Romantic Comedy, In Other Words.
Julietta Corti
Mother
Julietta Corti is delighted to be making her Village Barn Playhouse debut as Ethel Banks in Barefoot in the Park. She is a Broadway veteran and played the role of Cassandra in CATS. Some of her favorite roles include: Maria in Twelfth Night, Ginger in 1940’s Radio Hour at Actor’s Co-op in Hollywood, Nimue in Camelot at Papermill Playhouse, and Vera in On Your Toes. She studied acting at A.C.T. and Dance at the School of American Ballet at Juilliard. The PBS documentary Silver Feet chronicles her journey in dance. Fun fact, Julietta loves Kingsburg. The shops are terrific, and the people are wonderfully hospitable. She respects and admires the brilliant cast and creative team on this production. She is grateful for the constant love and encouragement of her husband Jesse Corti. Soli Deo Gloria!
Tommy Statler
Victor Velasco
Tommy is currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts degree in directing from Cal State Fullerton. He holds an undergraduate BFA degree in acting and directing from Southeast Missouri State University. His directing credits include: As You LIke It (William Shakespeare), The Moors (Jen Silverman), Boy's Life (Howard Korder), Romeo and Juliet (William Shakespeare), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Steve Martin), and Dark Play/Stories for Boys (Carlos Murillo). He has held fellowship and internship positions at California Shakespeare Theatre, Santa Cruz Shakespeare and Berkshire Theatre Group. He is also an experienced teaching artist specializing in acting, voice & movement, and performance education for the autistic community.
He has founded 4 other companies and feels blessed to be part of the continued growth of Village Barn Playhouse. He is thankful to Cheryl and Tyler Carlson, and everyone else in the Kingsburg community that has made this play possible.
Alfred Robinson
Telephone Repair Man
Alfred J. Robinson IV is a Los Angeles native. Although he just graduated cum laude from Cal State Northridge with a bachelors in theatre, he’s already off to a great start with both film and stage credits under his belt. He was most recently seen in the AEOB production of "Sweat" and regularly brings the funny doing standup at The HaHa Comedy club in Los Angeles.
Robert Gottselig
Delivery Man
Robert (Bob) is thrilled to make his acting debut here at the Village Barn Playhouse. Bob is an U.S. Air Force veteran, and retired private investigator for the Fresno district attorney's office. Nowadays you can find him rocking on his guitar, drinking wine with his beautiful wife Maria, hugging is grandkids, or singing a golden oldie.
