We assign the parts. Never Rehearse. Then put on a show!

Meet us on the Big Lawn for an impromptu evening of Shakespeare a' la Trash. Shakespeare in the park meets improv night as we re-tell some of the Bard's favorite classics. If you 'don't do shakespeare' then you do do trashcan shakespeare. Because shakespeare is better with drink and friends.

WHATS THE PRICE OF ADMISSION?
Free admission to all, but we will be accepting donations at the door.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
There is no seating on the big lawn, so we suggest bringing a blanket and/or chairs to sit on, which ever is most comfortable for you.

WILL THERE BE FOOD & DRINKS?
We will be offering an assortment of snacks, picnic charcuterie cups, and beverages, with all proceeds benefiting The Village Barn Playhouse.

IS IT FAMILY FRIENDLY?
The atmosphere is very family friendly with live music and fun for all and even a bubble machine (toddlers everywhere rejoice!). There is a separate small enclosed area set up for children's play as well. However, please keep in mind the material being performed is typically dripping in nuance, and the actors may or may not be improvising on the spot and there is no guarantee of how they may 'speak the speech'.
